Contour Showers adds Biomaster protection

Counter Showers is to showcase a range of shower trays newly-protected by Biomaster antibacterial technology at the Chartered Institute for Housing Exhibition at Manchester next month

Contour was established in 1959 as a family run business and since the late 1990’s has been at the forefront of design and innovation of shower trays and enclosures for the elderly and people with special needs. Today, Contour Showers is one of the UK’s leading supplier of easy access showering solutions, supplying local authorities, housing associations and national building merchants and contractors.

Contour has two factories based in Winsford, Cheshire and in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, where they manufacture shower trays made from the finest glass reinforced plastic (GRP) or fibreglass to the highest standards with a lifetime guarantee.

The company’s current range comprises over 60 types and styles of shower tray incorporating Biomaster antibacterial technology.

Biomaster prevents bacteria from multiplying. Microbes that land on a Biomaster protected surface are unable to replicate and therefore they die. The protection works 24/7, so Contour shower trays stay fresher and cleaner for the lifetime of the product.

Marc Smith, Contour Showers Marketing Manager says: “We are delighted by the addition of Biomaster to our range of level and easy access shower trays. The added value of having antibacterial protection is a key factor to tackling bacteria and the risks of cross contamination in the home, care facilities and hospitals where the same showering facilities are used numerous times per day.”

You can find out more about the Contour Showers range at the Institute for Housing Exhibition at Manchester Central, 23rd – 25th June 2015, Stand Number P8. or by visiting the company’s website.
