Sirane buys antibacterial ‘cool bag’ manufacturer B&G

B&G Products is the Staffordshire-based supplier of bags and pouches including the antibacterial ‘cool bag’now on sale in Morrisons stores.

Sirane designs and manufactures absorbency and ovenable/microwaveable products, compomstable packaging, films, boards and absorbent pads.

Simon Balderson, Sirane managing director (above far right) said the acquisition will allow Sirane to access new markets, and toexpand the B&G business through existing client base both in the UK and overseas.

“B&G Products is a great company with huge potential, and their product range complements Sirane’s existing business perfectly.”

Sirane now has manufacturing sites and offices in the UK (Telford, Shropshire), Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa and Turkey – as well as a network of agents and distributors – offering a global presence, with sales in more than 100 countries.
